- .SH DESCRIPTION
- \fBPanic\fR prints an error message on the standard error file and
- then kills the process by calling \fBabort\fR. The \fIformat\fR and
- \fIarg\fR arguments control the printing of the message just as if
- they had been passed to \fBprintf\fR.
